Brontë Country

Haworth village is situated above the Worth Valley amid the atmospheric Pennine moors in West Yorkshire , just north of Bradford .

Haworth is internationally famous for its connection with the Brontë sisters, who wrote most of their famous works while living at the Haworth Parsonage, while their father was parson at the adjacent Haworth church.

Charlotte Brontë's most remembered novel is Jane Eyre. Emily wrote Wuthering Heights, and Anne, the youngest of the three was the author of The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.
